1. Who these terms are with
DraftSprite is operated in the United Kingdom by Ava Lily Studio ("we", "us" or "our"). Contact us at hello@draftsprite.com.
By creating an account and accepting these terms, you agree to this agreement. If you use DraftSprite for a business, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that business.
2. What DraftSprite provides
DraftSprite is a seller workspace that prepares A-size artwork, realistic mock-ups, a listing video, titles, descriptions, 13 tags, saved shop settings and editable listing drafts. Features and plan limits may change for public use.
Where Etsy API access is enabled for an eligible connected shop, DraftSprite can create an unpublished Etsy draft only after the seller explicitly approves it. Other accounts complete the final shop step manually. DraftSprite never publishes a listing automatically.
3. Accounts and security
- You must provide an email address you control and keep your password and email account secure.
- You must not share access in a way that compromises another person's data or bypasses limits.
- Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable care.
4. Connecting Etsy
During the current Personal Access testing period, the configured developer account and its allowlisted shop may use shops_r, listings_r and listings_w so the owner can test new unpublished drafts and owner-only existing-listing tools in that shop.
For the initial Commercial Access rollout, new seller connections will request only shops_r and listings_w. DraftSprite will use those permissions to identify the authenticated shop, read its own sections and delivery profiles as needed to construct a valid listing, and create a new unpublished draft from content the seller has reviewed.
Commercial customers will not receive existing-listing editing or renewal access through DraftSprite unless Etsy separately approves that functionality and the corresponding rollout switch is deliberately enabled. Until then, listings_r remains confined to the configured Personal Access owner account.
DraftSprite does not request orders, transactions, buyer information, reviews, favourites, billing details or sales data.
Content obtained through the Etsy API is not used as input to an AI or machine-learning system. To generate new copy or mock-ups for an existing product, you must upload your original artwork independently rather than import an Etsy listing image.
If that optional integration is enabled, you can disconnect the shop in DraftSprite or revoke access through Etsy. Disconnecting stops future API access but does not remove listing packages you created in DraftSprite.
You must use Etsy features in accordance with Etsy's own terms, policies and seller rules.
5. Your artwork and content
You keep ownership of artwork, files, shop copy and other content you upload. You give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, copy, resize, analyse and process that content only as needed to provide, secure and improve the service you request.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to use the content. Do not upload unlawful, infringing, harmful or confidential material, or personal data that is unnecessary for the service.
6. Generated content and seller responsibility
AI-generated titles, descriptions, tags, prompts, images and research can be inaccurate, incomplete, similar to other material or unsuitable for a particular listing. We do not guarantee search ranking, sales, originality, policy compliance or commercial results.
You are responsible for checking the artwork, ownership, title, description, tags, prices, variations, production-partner details, AI disclosures, delivery promises, tax settings and any other information before publishing.
7. Digital listings
DraftSprite creates five print-ratio ZIP files for a digital-download listing. In the manual workflow, you attach those files to the listing yourself. Where the optional Etsy draft integration is enabled for an eligible shop, files may be attached only to the new unpublished draft you explicitly approve.
Check every generated file, crop, resolution, filename, description and download instruction before sale. You are responsible for ensuring the buyer receives the product described.
8. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the service to infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights;
- upload malware, probe security, scrape the service or attempt unauthorised access;
- misrepresent generated content, shop information or product details;
- resell access, overload the service or use automation that disrupts it; or
- create or submit a product that breaches Etsy's Creativity Standards, Prohibited Items Policy or Intellectual Property Policy; or
- use DraftSprite in any other way that breaches Etsy's rules or applicable law.
9. Free listings, pricing, cancellation and refunds
Every account receives five complete listing builds free. No card is required, there is no subscription to cancel during free use, and no refund is due for free listings.
Future allowances will pay for DraftSprite's value-added generation work, such as mock-ups, video and listing copy. Sending an already-generated, seller-reviewed pack to Etsy, where the optional connection is approved and enabled, will not consume an additional allowance or attract a separate DraftSprite fee.
We will not convert a free account into a paid subscription automatically. Before any paid plan begins, we will show the price, billing interval, usage limits, renewal and cancellation terms, and any applicable digital-service cancellation information. A paid plan will require your clear confirmation.
If a payment is ever taken in error, contact hello@draftsprite.com. Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer rights.
10. Availability and changes
The service may contain faults, experience interruptions or change without notice. We will use reasonable care in operating it, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every third-party feature will remain compatible.
We may suspend access to protect users, investigate misuse, comply with law or maintain the service. Where practical, we will give notice of material changes.
11. Our intellectual property
We own or license the DraftSprite service, software, brand, original interface, templates and supporting content. These terms do not transfer that intellectual property to you. You may use generated listing output and mockups for your own lawful shop activity, subject to third-party rights and any feature-specific notice.
12. Third-party services
DraftSprite depends on services including Supabase, Vercel, Render, AI providers, Google and Photopea; Etsy is also involved only if the optional draft integration is approved and enabled. Their own terms and privacy practices apply when you use them. We are not responsible for changes, outages or decisions made by a third-party platform, but we remain responsible for our own obligations under applicable law.
13. Etsy notice
The term 'Etsy' is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This Application uses Etsy's API, but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy.

AND ITS AFFILIATES ARE NOT THE APPLICATION DEVELOPER, DO NOT PROVIDE THE APPLICATION SERVICE, AND MAKE NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND WITH RESPECT TO THE APPLICATION OR DATA ACCESSED THROUGH IT.
14. Liability and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights.
Subject to that, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, lost sales, lost ranking, Etsy account action, or loss caused by inaccurate user input, unreviewed generated content, third-party outages or a breach of these terms. While you use the free allowance, our total liability arising from the service is limited to £100 where the law allows.
15. Ending use and data
You can stop using DraftSprite at any time, disconnect Etsy if the optional integration is enabled, and delete your own account from Account settings — or email us to request deletion if you can't sign in. We may end or suspend an account that materially breaches these terms, creates security risk or exposes us or others to legal harm.
Deletion and retention are handled as described in the Privacy Notice. Download anything you need before requesting deletion.
16. Law and changes to these terms
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you keep any mandatory protections and right to bring proceedings available under the law where you live.
We may update these terms as the service develops. We will give reasonable notice of material changes and ask you to accept new terms where required.
